When I buy soy milk I buy the 1 946 ml boxs that don't to be refridgerated until you open them. I buy soy milk this way because I like to buy it on sale, and the easiest way to do this is wait until there is a sale and then buy 12-24 boxs of it that doesn't to be in the fridge. When you open a box, you put it in the fridge. I save about 33-66 cents a litre this way, which adds up considering I drink soy milk every day. The soy milk doesn't expire for a long time, probably 6 months or longer.
Last time I went to the store for soy milk soy dream was the brand on sale and it didn't expire for 4 months so I bought 12 of them. As time went on it began to get clumpy. I called them to complain and they brushed it off as not a big deal. They assured me I was keeping it in the correct conditions, and it never tasted bad. The last box of it I drank was the clumpiest and I just didn't find it very appetizing watching it pour into a cup of coffee or bowl of cereal and because of this I will never buy this brand again. I have never had this occur with any other brand on soy milk, so I still suggest stocking up on other brands of non refrigerate soy milk.
